Abaci 2018 Company Retreat
Last week the Abaci team came together in Miami, FL to transfer knowledge, collaborate on best practices, and have a little fun. Our diverse group of experts presented on topics ranging from new NetSuite features, custom technical solutions, OpenAir and Adaptive Insights. We look forward to applying our new skills during the implementation process to achieve optimal results for our clients.
Eduardo Braghin and Dyan Tupas explained how Adaptive Insights can provide comprehensive financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our clients, including how to create a seamless integration with NetSuite. They created stunning reports in minutes and walked us thru the simple process of creating useful beautiful dashboards and KPIs. We were impressed by Adaptive’s ease of use and time saved by preventing the need to manipulate data in Excel.
NetSuite and OpenAir
Joe Cadigan and Connor Janis demonstrated several of Abaci’s most popular custom solutions. Our team was impressed with their ability to customize NetSuite to increase user efficiency, prevent data errors, streamline business processes, and integrate with other systems. Our unicorn and certified SCA developer, Philip Lau, shared his knowledge on the benefits of SuiteCommerce Advanced versus other web development techniques, unifying Web Stores with back-end operations such as inventory, order management, sales, and accounting.
Finally, our functional team discussed best practices for SuiteBilling, OpenAir, and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM). Jonathon Potter demonstrated how NetSuite ARM enables companies to comply with the new revenue recognition standard (ASC 606). Tracy Crawford explained how OpenAir is revolutionizing professional services automation and when to choose OpenAir over NetSuite PSA. Finally, Sham Tyagi taught us how SuiteBilling efficiently manages subscriptions, automates recurring billing, and recognizes revenue for performance obligations.
We are excited to put our new skills into action to create a successful synergy between business processes and technology, achieving optimum results for our clients.
Although we did learn a lot from each other during the meetings, we didn’t forget to have some fun; we even got to ride around the bay in a yacht!
Cheers from the Abaci team!
